When did I lose my daughter to her daddy?
A few days ago, Jules told me that she missed daddy and to call him to come home from work.
Then she added that he was her favorite friend.... but I am still her best friend.
Now she is crying bc she saw my profile pic of daddy. She is crying, "daddy, come home!!!" Granted she is exhausted, but come on...
This isn't fair! I want to be #1 again.

AWW, I think its sweet when they bond with daddy mommy is mommy, but daddy is daddy.
I just see it as two different bonds.
No one will replace you!

Re: When did I lose my daughter to her daddy?
Even though it's hard at times, DW and I realize and regretfully understand that both DS and DD will probably bounce back and forth between who is their "favorite".... right now, I'm DS's favorite, and DW is DD's favorite. Both of us are a little sad about not being the "favorite" for both DC, but as long as it's one of us, and not a TV actor, or a cartoon, we're OK with it...

Dh swears that he is Sydney's favorite - sometimes it bothers me and sometimes it frees me up from diaper changes and feeding battles and gives me some me time.
