We were others. Told some immediate family right away as well as my best friend. After we saw a heartbeat added a few more people and finally made the big announcement just shy of 12 weeks.

I told our immediate families at 6 weeks after hearing the heartbeat. We told everyone else at 12 weeks after the NT scan.

"Other": we had been dealing with IF, and I have some people at work I'm friendly with who are going through something similar. We'd confide in each other about medical stuff, so they knew what day my IUI was. I had to tell them yes or no by 3 weeks after that (5 weeks pg) - they were getting really anxious! Only them and my sister knew.

After we saw the heartbeat last week, we told DH's family. I'm still scared to tell my Dad (I want to know everything's perfect) so I'm going to wait until after our second sono for that next week.

Immediate family same week as BFP. A couple of friends were sprinkled in between 8 and 11 weeks. I just told the higher ups at work today at 12 weeks. I still haven't told my coworkers and I'm not even sure I want to.

Told DH and one close friend immediately. Told my immediate family + grandparents after first beta (3 days after BFP). Told inlaws after second beta (about 1.5 weeks after BFP).

Telling friends/rest of family second tri.

Told my parents at 6 weeks, and family at 8 weeks. I'm not telling" the world" until 12 weeks.

I told my parents & IL's the day I found out. A few others have found out since - but I'm waiting for 12 weeks to tell everyone else.

With pregnancy #1, we told earlier - at 9 weeks. We were moving OOS & were so excited to share our news in person. Plus we were much less worried. Totally different pregnancy. We had no issues conceiving, etc.

This time it has been so different. It took us two long years to get here after 2 IUI cycles. Plus since it's twins and I'm older, I've been worried alot. We waited 12 weeks to tell most people, some even longer.

Pretty much everyone else...13 weeks

With my first pg, pretty much everyone knew at 5 weeks. This time I was trying to see how long I could hide it.

My parents and DH's parents pretty much within 2 weeks of getting BFP, I couldn't wait to tell them. We have not told anyone else yet...although ppl are starting to catch on...I think I'm showing (all the bloat ) and some lifers from posting on here. Btw congratulations!!

Told my parents, my best -friend and close sister in law right away. Waited to tell my MIL and FIL a few days after BFP because we wanted to tell them personally. It was right after Christmas so we wrapped a baby blanket (with big BABY print in front) and a card and gave it to them when we went for dinner at their house. We told them that we forgot a Christmas present at home on Christmas day and that was their present. MIL got it right away....it took a bit for my FIL They knew we were doing IUI so they were expecting something but not for another week DH told his best friend on New Year's Eve after a couple of drinks . His best friend told a couple of mutual friends (who also knew we were doing IUI) after a couple more drinks

We are waiting until 12 weeks to tell everyone else (including my boss) Another 6 weeks to go.....

I told my closest work friends the day after we tested!

We wanted to wait to tell our moms after the 8 week appointment, but his mom guessed at 7 weeks and since I was spotting and had a scare, I told my mom shortly after. I also told my principal at this time in case something was going around school.

We told my father, his brother and close friends at 12 weeks.

We came out of FB at 20 weeks.

Parents and siblings- day after BFP

Some close friends -- figured it out a few days after BFP

Other friends -- told them around 7 wks or so.

Rest found out at 12 wks

I'm 7w now and we haven't told anyone yet. We want to wait until after my level I at 12w. We'll see if we make it to that though.

I told my sister the day I got my BFP. Then we told my dad and DH's mom at 6 weeks and the rest of the family at 9 weeks. I officially "came out" on FB at 13 weeks.

told parents after 1st doctors appt at 6w and started telling best friends at 7w told boss at 8w and then slowly started telling rest of friends as we saw them between 10-11w. mentioned it on facebook for the first time at 22w

Told immediate family & best friend(s) after we heard the heartbeat at 6wks. Havent actually "come out" yet. Im planning on that by next week. We will be 11.5 wks

We told our immediate family after our first appointment where we saw the HB - I was about 7.5 weeks. Wwe waited another few weeks to tell close friends but it was before 12 weeks.
