When did you do your 1st baby pictures in a portrait studio?

I'm trying to think when I should do them. I have literally over 200 pictures of my son already. He's only 3.5 months old. I wanted to wait for him to start smiling before we took him to a studio. He's smiling like crazy now. I was thinking 6 months but now I want earlier professional pictures also. I'm thinking to go to Sears, JCPenney, Target, somewhere with patience and I wont be rushed! My questions are:

When did you take your DC for the 1st time?

Was there a reason? Like a holiday or something?

Can you bring 2 or 3 outfits?

Where did you go?

How long will they allow a session?

I think thats all. I dont remember going to a studio so any details would be great! Thanks!

First time I took him was Picture People at the mall when he was 7 weeks. I was on maternity so it was nice I could go during the week and an LIF friend recommended in and sent coupons. Figured... what the heck.

Got some cute shots of DS in 3 outfits. The fav was in his Jets onsie for DH. It was a little surprise for him when he got home from work. They give great coupons and I gave the wallets out.

The next one was 6 months with Shira Z (LOVE HER) for Hanukkah gifts for everyone and we just met with her again for his 1 year pics.
