When did you first start wearing makeup???

Me...I believe about 12 and it was blue eyeliner For a middle school dance

i used to sneak lip gloss and put it on once i got to school (6th grade)

i think in 8th grade i got the okay from my mom to start wearing mascara

Junior high- I was 12 when I started but was only allowed to wear mascara and some lip gloss at first.

Well, the nailpolish started early. Apparently, I started painting my own nails at 3. Makeup started young, too. But not to school. I remember being in 4th grade and practicing mascara and lipstick.

Don't remember exactly but I think around 7th grade.

I wore makeup in 8th grade. I started playing with it around 6th grade but never wore it to school, aside from fruity lip balm.

Pretty young. I started "playing" in elementary school. I was fascinated with my moms makeup! (I even used to cut & color my Barbies' hair.) I didn't start wearing makeup to school until 7th grade. Gotta' love those Cleopatra lipgosses with the built-in mirrors!

I wasn't allowed to wear make up until HS so I started the summer before 9th grade

7th grade. I remember not being good at the blue eyeliner that everyone out on their innter lid. I shudder thinking about that now.

i was 12 or 13, I had terrible skin and thought that if all my zits were "covergirl" flesh colored, no one would notice them.

Since I was 12, I have not gone to school or work without at least undereye concealer and mascara (blonde eyelashes).

Probably 7th or 8th grade and I still have nightmares about all of the purple eye shadow and glitter nail polish.

6th grade. My older sister bought me my first makeup products for Christmas.

I definitely remember the eyeliners. She gave me two fat pencils, with a different colors on either end: white & black and aqua & fuschia.

I wore the white on the inside, and sometimes layered the blue and pink. The early 80's were such a stylish time!

I am going to say soon after my wedding last year.

before that, almost never, unless you count lipstick.

Not until I moved to Long Island.

Prior to that the only make-up I ever wore was for special occassions.

When I moved to LI I suddenly felt "underdone" everywhere I went.

my Mom didn't let me wear makeup when all my friends were starting to, probably at around age 12 or 13. she finally gave in when I was in JHS. I would say I started at 14 or so...

I was 3. LOL - but it was only for recitals.

I didn't start wearing makeup until 11th grade. Even then, just mascara & lipgloss.

I think I was 12, in 7th grade. I think I just wore powder cover up, and lipgloss.
