When did you introduce the entire egg?
My ped wants me to start giving DD whole eggs 3x a week  She's 8 months???? I thought this was early...

I was planning on starting next month (he will be 7months). Im sure if the ped rec it, it is ok. Im also sure there will be a few who say some book says dont do it until they are a year. But I like to live on the edge a bit.

DS started getting eggs around 7/8 months. I gave it to him scrambled because he had already had food with egg in it. But the Ped didn't recommend it, I just did it on my own.

Yah thats what I've heard, thats why I was wondering, I trust my ped, just wanted to hear the general consensus!

haven't done it yet, but planning on doing it this weekend. DS is 7 mos. No ped recommendation, I like to try things on my own. JMO

I followed my doctor's rec - 9 months for yolk, 10 months for whites. Too many allergies in my family for me to want to introduce things early.

both of my kids were on whole eggs way before they were 1yr. I don't remember, but it was probably around 7 months or so.
