when did you lose your mucus plug?

At what week did you lose your mucus plug? And how long after did you go into labor?
Everything I've been reading says you can go into labor two hours, or two weeks after losing the plug. I was just wondering how it was for all of you.

One week before labor. Ate a huge Mexican meal (do not recommend doing that) and took two walks and out she came!

Re: when did you lose your mucus plug?

I was 1cm on a Tuesday and the next day I lost my plug around late morning and after that my contractions started but they just felt like period cramps and I went on cleaning the house moving some furniture proceeded to take a shower get ready to drive to Queens for my nieces birthday party. As the day progressed my contractions got progressly more intense but I didn't leave to go to the hospital until 12:30am that Thursday and delivered that day at 5:02am. While I had the contractions durning the day it started were I was getting them every 30 minutes then by 5pm it was every 20 minutes and by 8:30pm it was every 10 minutes and by 11pm it was every 4 minutes and I waited the hour then called the doctor.

According to my lamaze DVD, everyone loses their mucus plug. But it did say that it's completely possible to just not notice.
