When did you or do you plan on stop using a booster seat or high chair?

My DS is 21 months and we still put him in his booster seat when he eats his meals. I was just wondering what other people were doing and when you plan on just putting you DC in a regular seat to eat.

I held off as long as possible ...Can't remember when we stopped with my DS, but I';m thinking he was close to 3 - LOL !!! We only stopped because his feet were getting stuck when we took him out !

DD is 2 years 4 months, I just recently stopped using it just because I needed it for my twins. She still fits in it fine and definitely helps control the mess, so I'm kind of sad to see it go.

At home, 3yo DD still loves her high-chair. She'll get upset if she doesn't sit in it for meals. However, if we aren't home, she doesn't want any kind of assistance. No booster, no high-chair, etc. She wants to sit in the adult chairs, and she does fine that way. It doesn't bother us, so we let her sit in whatever she wants. Especially since we know that she doesn't NEED the highchair....

When she is tall enough to reach the table without having to sit on her knees.

DD does just fine in her highchair or a booster, so until she can reach the table unassisted...she'll be in either one. She is 2

Noah was 2 last month and will sit in a regular chair at a restuarant all the time now and at home some of the time(for breakfest and lunch usually) .

I usually use the booster for dinner only. He hasn't wanted any part of the highchair since like 16-17 months.

I never had a plan. But I stopped with DD when she asked/wanted to stop. With DS, he likes to sit in a chair/seat like us when we go out. He still likes his chair at home. He's 26 months.
