When did you put your DC in the shopping cart?
I have the floppy seat and was wondering if she is too young to use it (6 months)... she can sit up for a little while on her own. When did you start letting your child sit on the top of the shopping cart?

I'd say at 5 months I put her in it, she was just starting to sit up on her own. I would bring two blankets to prop her up if she got tired. It just made life SO much easier not having to lug the stroller in when I needed to food shopping.

About 6.5mos but only because thats when he started sitting up better by himself.

about 5 1/2 - 6 months...now she sits up great in the cart.

I did it super early, like 4 months or so. My daughter was a very nosey baby and she used to scream in the carseat and was much happier once she could see.

I started around 5.5 months only because I wasn't using the infant seat anymore and there was no way I could shop with a stroller AND a cart. Like someone else said, just bring a blanket in case your DC needs a little help.

Honestly, not until she was about 11 months.  It' always just been easier to shop without her so I rarely bring her shopping. If I do, it's to run in and get milk and in that case, I'd just carry her.

I think it was around 6 or 7 months. Whenever I took him out of the infant carseat.

probably around 5 months or so. I would prop him up with my big purse and shove my jacket on the other side of him.

I did it the first time last week when he was 5.5 months or so at Target. He loved it.
Oh, and I don't have that floppy seat thing DS is actually small enough that I put my diaper bag next to him so he couldn't move around that much
