When Did You Really Know...
You were a parent?
Mine was the 1st time I took my daughter to the doctor and she got her 1st shot. She cried and I cried along with her...that's when it hit me!

I guess when they wheeled me out of the hospital to my car and me and DH were on our own!

When I got home from the hospital and had to call the pediatrican's office to make her first well visit and said "I need to make an appointment for my DAUGHTER". It was surreal to hear myself say "my daughter", all of a sudden it just clicked, I was a MOMMY!

When the nurse brought my daughter to me when I had just gotten to my room after giving birth to her and they said,"Time to feed your daughter." I had no idea how to nurse her! It was very scary. But I thought wow, I have a daughter and I have to feed her.
