When did you really start to feel run down?

I'm just about 23 weeks and just feel awful. I have a 3 1/2 y/o DD and between taking care of her, this horrible heat, bad, bad back pain, and this huge belly, I'm miserable. I'm experiencing BH pretty consistently and even walking the slightest distance knocks me out. I feel a lot of pressure down below, also. I'm so scared of how I'll feel at the end if I'm feeling this horribly now. Is anyone else feeling like me, or am I alone? When did you REALLY start to slow down?

i REALLY was run down at 30 weeks and onwards. It took me forever to do anything because i was soo sluggish.
for back pain i saw a chiropractor which helped a lot.....but no seating or laying position felt comfortable to me.

around 30 weeks. I worked until 31 weeks in a pretty physical job and that last week was really tough for me.

At 33w5 days I told my husband I don't think I can do this anymore. I was so swollen from what I would find out was pre eclampsia. I wound up having the babies the next day! I didn't realize how BAD I actually felt until a few days after delivery when I started to fell "normal" again!

hang in there...it is all worth it in the end!!

Re: When did you really start to feel run down?

I'm 29 weeks and about to jump. out. of my. skin!

I've been really sick with congestion, virus, etc, can't breathe when I lay down so have been sleeping (minimally) straight up on the couch for 11 nights.

I'm getting intermittent anxiety attacks b/c I have no idea how I'll make it through to the end.

Also b/c I haven't been laying down, my feet/ankles stay ridiculously swollen (even with elevating them while sitting).

There is no position for my body that is not VERY uncomfortable.

ETA: do you wear a maternity support brace? I wear anywhere from 1-3 at a time!

Smiles I feel so bad for you Chat Icon Chat Icon You sound like you're absolutely miserable. While I'm not in your shoes, I wanted to maybe suggest something that worked for me... recliner. I don't own one, but I took my dad's Old Man recliner and when I am not up and around, I live in it. Feet are up and breathing is easier. I hope you find something that works... and that you get some sleep Chat Icon

Re: When did you really start to feel run down?

I began getting tired and crampy from being on my feet for a half hour around 22/23 weeks.

Thanks so much, Rascal! Chat Icon Chat Icon

We have a couch with recliners on the end, which had been good until the last couple of weeks. Now even being slightly tilted onto my back puts too much pressure and I can't breathe.

BUT I am past the worst of the sickness on top of the pregnancy....so compared to that, I am feeling better.

Just trying to look at cute baby pics to keep me motivated to grit my way through each day!!!!
