When did you reveal your pregnancy?

I'm only 5 weeks along but it's so hard to keep it to myself!

When did you tell about your pregnancy to:

I told my sister right after the doctor called and told me my beta #.
I told my dad around 7 weeks (it was Father's Day). DH's family we told around 8 weeks.
MY boss I told probably around 6 weeks or so, I was very tired and sick in the beginning.
The rest of the world I really didn't tell. . . I never announced on Facebook or anything until I was outed in a tagged photo around 20 weeks.

Immediate family....the day I got my BFP (I had been trying for 2 years and had some fertility treatments so it was no secret)

Work after my first sono (6weeks)

Friends - between 8 and 14 weeks.

We are telling our family tomorrow. I got my IL's, my dad & his wife a frame w/the sono in it. We decided that we will also tell the rest of the family & close friends on Christmas day when we make our phone calls. I would prefer to wait a bit w/friends but my MIL has a HUGE mouth and wouldn't be able to control herself.

I will prob wait till I am 13/14 wks b/f I tell work.

I told a couple of close friends right after my BFP. We told family at 9 weeks. I told work and the rest of the world at 12 weeks.

I'm at 6 weeks and so far I only told my parents and my best friend. The doctor won't see me until 8.5 weeks. We will probably tell DH's family on Christmas and then until we see the doctor once or twice or maybe even until 12 weeks, we won't be telling anyone else.

My mother "guessed" when I was a little less than 8 weeks- so I told her. Told the rest of my immediate fam after my 8 week sono. And then told work and everyone else at a little over 3 months.

We told our immediate families and best friends right when we found out at 5 weeks. Extended is going to be finding out this weekend and I'm telling work next week when I'm 13 weeks.

Parents and siblings: 10 weeks
Friends and extended family: 13 weeks
Work and Facebook: 16 weeks

We told immediate family and I told my best friend when we had a positive pregnancy test.

Other close friends and family knew at around 10 weeks.

I told my boss at 12 weeks, and other co-workers within the few weeks after that.

The whole world once I started the 2nd trimester (14 weeks).

My Mom and Dad - BFP

Work - 13 weeks (bc I was sick)

Family & Friends - 14 weeks (on Thanksgiving)

Parents, the minute i got my bfp.

Work at around 14 weeks.

Friends at around 12-14 weeks.

Announce on facebook at 18 weeks.

I lot of people still don't know because i'm not that huge yet, i'm referring to neighbors and random acquaintenances. I'll wait until those people figure it out on their own.

I told my mom right away. I waited until about 6 weeks to tell siblings. And now at almost 12 weeks I have told some other family and friends after my 8 week appointment. I am thinking of telling more friends and family this weekend.

immediate family knew right away! I was probably only 4 1/2 weeks!

I told a group of close friends at a brunch when I was 5 1/2 weeks...they questioned why I wasn't drinking a cocktail and why I got decaf coffee I was bursting to tell though.

Then a few more close friends when i was 7 1/2 weeks

work and the world had to wait until i was past 13 weeks which was when I had my ultrascreen done. I told work and then posted on FB right after

My mom was over when I took my pregnancy so she and DH found out as soon as I got my BFP (I was about 4.5 weeks).

I told my best girlfriends as soon as I finished celebrating with DH, about 10 minutes after POAS

Other close friends/extended family/DH's coworkers we told between 8-10 weeks.

The rest of the world (i.e. Facebook) found out at 12 weeks.

My parents- the day after my bfp which happened to be 9/11. My mom worked in WTC and was there for it so I wanted to help cover that memory with something positive. It also happened to be grandparents day!

Our friends and most family- around 8 weeks

Boss- around 10 weeks

Entire fb world- 18 weeks when I found out gender

When I got my BFP I needed confirmation that I was seeing a second line and I text 3 girlfriends immediately after POAS.

I told 2 BF's the next day when we were leaving for a trip.

My mom week after BFP

Inlaws and SIL's at week 8/9 (when we saw them next in person)

Rest of family knew the morning before posted on FB and that is when the rest of friends / the world knew.

With both pregnancies, We waited to tell anyone until we saw the heartbeat (around 6-7 weeks). Then, over the course of a week or so, we told family, then friends, then work, then the world.
