When did you spill the beans?
We are trying to wait until we hear the heartbeat before sharing this huge news with family, but it's so freaking hard to contain the excitement!!!!!!

we told around 11 weeks.....it was hard not to tell, but thats what we had decided ahead of time! Congrats!!

We told immediate family as soon as we saw them in person, which was about 5.5 weeks. I also told some close friends then because it was my 30th bday and they would all know if I wasn't drinking. After we had our 1st appt at 9 weeks, we told more friends and more extended family, and then at 12 we told everyone including work. I was probably more open than most but I figured whoever I told real early, I would have needed support from if I miscarried. Plus, I can't hide it or lie. My family knew within 5 min of seeing them before I said a word!

I say whenever you feel comforable sharing the news, everyone is different. Me personally, we started telling now because my DH and I can not keep a secret like this for too long. My doctor said, lets wait until we see or hear the heartbeat and for my blood results to come back, if everything is okay she said we can start spreading the news. We went to the doctor this past Thursday and learned all my blood work came back normal and my baby has a heartbeat! So, we are starting to tell the rest of our friends and family.

Right when I got my BFP! I only called my mom and my sister, we wanted to wait and tell everyone together with a going to be a big sister shirt for Julia to wear, but it came late. So she wore it to my IL's house and told them that way. I let my MIL and my mom tell everyone else.

About 5 minutes after I found out I told my friends. I surprised DH that night. We told my mom the next day because she was coming to town and IL's at the end of the week.

Non of my family know yet. I have my first appt. next week & hope to tell them the end of the week next week when I will be 6 weeks.
UNFORTUNATELY........works knows already. Both bosses & both managers know because on occasion I can be exposed to some chemicals that aren't suggested to be around during preganacy!! There is still MORE then enough work for me to do!!
I told one friend also!
