When did you start getting the nursery ready?

Just wondering so I can start making a timeline to getr everything done.

I'm 26 weeks and just started (We had to move DS first)

I'll be 29 weeks this Wednesday

We ordered the furniture 2 weeks ago- We are painting the room next week.

Hopefully the room will be done before my shower (I'll be 31 weeks by then)

I just found out and we started this weekend. So 36 weeks in advance

LOL. We are moving Andrew out of his bedroom into the bigger one so that is really why we are clearing things out at this point

I am starting to empty the room out now at 21 weeks. It's a playroom now for my DD.

The guest room is going to be the nursery. We have furniture in their already that we have to take out. Still need to paint the room. My parents are coming to visit for a week in July. They are going to help out a little with getting things ready when they are here. Once they are gone DH will be flipping the guest room completely to be the nursery. The changing table is in the guest room though all set up. It came put together. The crib is in it's box. We have a bunch of other baby stuff in there too hidden in a corner or the closet.

So once my parents are gone DH will be quite busy to prepare the nursery for the arrival of who is due the first week in September

We actually just started painting yesterday...I am 34 weeks on wednesday.

With my DS we started about 3 months before my due date. The first thing we did was order furniture because depending on the brand it could take awhile to be delivered. For this baby we will probably start some time in July which will be about 4 months before my due date. Again the first thing I will do is order the crib.

i will be 29 weeks when we move, so that's when we will paint the nursery. i don't plan on buying furniture till after my shower, which is at 32 1/2 weeks. i don't need all that much time to get stuff ready, we aren't decorating like crazy at all.

I just painted the nursery last week (at 20 weeks). I ordered the furniture a few days ago and already have the bedding (with the valences hung ). I know I'm a little ahead of myself but it is so much fun!!

We painted the nursery when I was about 18 weeks along. (I am now almost 24 weeks) Since painting my DH has done all the new trim and mouldings and we're going to look at new carpets this week. We'll have the furniture ordered within the next 2-3 weeks as well. The baby will be here on Sept. 25th but we should have the whole room decorated and furnished sometime in August. I am anal.........I need everything in order and in place before this baby arrives.

I am 23 wks and we just cleaned out the spare bedroom this weekend so my contractor can get started on fixing it up in the next week or two

When we built our house, we knew which room would be the nursery so i painted it the color i wanted it to be... then.

But i started pretty early on the nursery. Around 21 weeks is when we got our baby furniture... and that started it all.

I got worried that the particular model we selected was being discontinued (a very similar set was introduced by the same manufacturer), so mom bought us the crib and we bought the changing table/dresser earlier than we initially planned (about 18 weeks?).

We assembled the crib within a week becuase we needed to clear the dining room of boxes. We just assembled the changing table yesterday (23 weeks).

There's still a ton to do... maybe we'll do another bit in a few weeks.

we're doing things slowly so it doesn't turn into a giant chore to finish on time....

We have a small one bedroom with a tiny office. We are moving our living room into our office and making the living room into the nursery. I’m 26weeks and I started the process of cleaning out the two rooms about 3weeks ago. I am still only about 30% done with the clearing out. I still have a few things I need to move around. I hope by Father’s Day to start painting *crosses fingers*

The furniture is coming this week (I'm 22 weeks), but the room isn't cleaned out yet. I'll work on the nursery during summer vacation when I will be about 25 weeks.

Im 27 weeks and I havnt done jack poo. All we plan on doing is emptying the room and possibly painting.

We are starting in two weeks so I will be about 20 or 21 weeks.

We started 4 weeks ago...as soon as we found out it was a
Picked out paint and furniture....painted the room 2 weeks ago and we just got the furniture...just waiting on the glider! I'm 24weeks.....and very organized
