When did you start putting DC in shopping cart?
I have the seat protector, and he's no longer in the carrier - so shopping is a PITA if I need to get more than a few things. He sits up on his own but doesn't get there on his own yet.

As soon as he was good at sitting up--probably about 6 months. He loved going to the store and looking at everything.

Kristina just started sitting up a couple of weeks ago, but I started putting her in the cart at about 6 months old... I would just use my hand to hold her/give her balance.

She was very steady sitting up by a little before 6 months so that's when we started putting her in it. It was actually July 4th weekend b/c we were upstate visiting relatives so she was about 5 1/2 months.

Around 6-7 mos. I used the floppy seat for extra cushion. Now at 12 mos I don't even bother with it anymore.
