When did you start researching/pricing daycare?
How far along were you? Do you find that you need to register early due to waiting lists?

I was still preggo when I started looking- I took 4 months off after the baby.
I had to leave a deposit about 2 months before she was going to start to hold a spot.

yesterday! there was a day care open house at the BRU near me in jersey. it was nice to see about 8 different places and compare. i'm 21 weeks now, due in august, and baby won't be in daycare until almost 6 months (end of next january). i will reserve a spot this july at the latest in a center- hopefully earlier if I can find a place we really like. most centers had a waiting list. i would say 6 months before the baby needs to go is a good time to register/put your name on their list. good luck!
