I am about 40 lbs overweight so I keep wondering how long it will take me to pop.

I didn't really have any kind of pre preggo stomach per say... But I also didn't start showing til 6 months....

I was/am overweight. I feel I never really "popped" until I was around 6.5-7 months. It was kind of depressing actually. Sorry!!

I am on the tall side, but also close to 40 pounds overweight. I have a fat tummy sort of (always could hide it in my clothes though!). 13 weeks and nothing yet! Though I think as my uterus moves up, my belly will just round out a little & be less lumpy!!

I don't think that I "popped" until around 25 weeks pg. Before that, you could tell people would look at me and wonder if I was pg, but were afraid to ask.

I was overweight prepreggo and I started really showing around 15-16 weeks.

I am tall and not so much overweight as I would say "sturdy." I don't think I really started to show to the point that you could be certain that it was a baby and not beer until about 20w. Everyone is different, but I think that is generally the same answer for thicker girls.

I was very overweight before getting pg. I didn't start to show until a couple of weeks ago (I am 34 1/2 weeks). I still feel like if you didn't know I was pg that I would just look fat. Everyone keeps saying no, but when I look at myself in the mirror I just look heavy. I also gained very little weight during my pg. So far I have only gained 12 lbs (gained 3 last night at my dr's appt). I don't have the typical round pregnant belly.

I'm a fat a$$. I started to show pretty early and in my 16th week I already had strangers asking when I was due. (You know how people are usually afraid to ask because they don't know if you're fat or preggo.) But as the pregnancy went on we realized I was all (HUGE) belly, so that explained my early belly. I also had an 11pound 8oz baby early. And no, I did not have GD.

I was 25 lbs overweight and I popped (versus just feeling and looking fat) around week 24. I'm now at 28 weeks. I don't know if you saw my post yearday - I was worried that I wasn't gaining enough weight - at 28 weeks I am up 14 lbs.

By the way, my husband's cousin was proably 80 lbs overweight when she got pregnant. She is due in 4 weeks and has actually lost weight. I think she is minus 5 from where she started out. She does have GD and been on a special diet.

I guess every body really is different.
