when did you start taking DC regularly to mass?
DD is 11 months and we've only taken her for her christening and Christmas so far. We'll bring her to Easter mass too. I want her to get used to it though. I'm scared though that it's going to be torture for us and the rest of the parish!!

Re: when did you start taking DC regularly to mass?
DS is 2 and we just started taking him a few months ago. This AM DH stayed home with him (I meet my family there) because we were out late yesterday and have another party today... For the most part DS does really well. We do go with Cheerios and a sippy cup..ooh and some books.

We started nearly immediately. But because of my work schedule, I can only make about 2 masses per month. So it's not every week. He is very good and each week I am proud of him.

DS is 11 months, and we have been taking him since 6 weeks old. We figured we would try it out and see how he does, and he has always been great. Every baby is different though, and when Grace comes along in June, we may have to stop for awhile!

IMO, when DC doesn't make a scene...
I know my DS is FAR from that

Re: when did you start taking DC regularly to mass?
we started when DS was 1 month old...it was actually easier when he was younger...now he walks up and down the side aisles (he is 22 months)
I apologized to our pastor but he is just happy we are there

From the time she was 3 weeks old. My church if very child friendly. She never gave us a problem and she is very comfortable there now. We have not been as good with my son though but he also has been going since he was a few weeks old.

When the weather stopped being really cold we started taking DD so I would say about late February or early March she been pretty good now that she 8 1/2 months we get the occasional babble and she dances when the organ plays nothing too harmful

Re: when did you start taking DC regularly to mass?
Around 4 months. I thought it would be easier as he got older but now that he is 19mos it is SO much harder! He rarely sits still! We try to go every week but once in a while miss mass if we have something going on.
