When did you take your son for his first haircut?
Honestly, my son was born needing a hair cut! Then as usual, he thinned out a bit but now at 7 mos. his hair is over his ears and it looks ridiculous. I keep pushing it behind his ears but DH is pushing me to bring him for a haircut otherwise he's going to pull out the buzzer and do it himself!  If I brought him I would just want them to trim around his ears, does that constitute as his official first haircut?? My Italian grandmother will flip, we're supposed to wait until 1 year, but I think he'll look like a hippie by then!

1st official haircut was at 13 months. but he had his first mommy trim at 6 months to cut really long sideburns and then another mommy trim sideburns and bangs at 11 months.

Ryan just had his at 8 months. I thought we would wait a year, but we just couldn't, and he looks much better now.

I cannot wait until his 1st b-day. His hair is out of control now. He will be getting a haircut at 10 months (which will be in 2 1/2 weeks).

My son was born with a ton of hair, we used to gel it back, looked like a little guido. By 11 months I couldnt stand it any longer and I had it cut

He was over a year and I did it myself. I am the only one who cuts his hair.
