my sister asked me as soon as she got out of her first trimester and was "safe". I kind of knew already since I am very close with her and was her MOH. I am also the godmother to my other sisters son...

When we started the first steps of planning the christening. I didn't want to say anything until we were both 100% positive.
Also that was pretty soon after he was born since he was baptised at 3 months.

I asked my best friend to be godmother during my 1st trimester, on Mother's Day. The godfather, Scott's brother, was asked during the 2nd trimester.
