Yes. It was a real struggle for us. We decided to tell our boys I was pregnant at around 14 weeks, after we received the reassuring results of the NIPT test. They definitely had a sense before as I was already showing. But only then did we feel confident enough to announce to them and the world.

I had two MC last year, and after having to tell them I lost the baby and watching my oldest cry over it, I understand how scary this is.

I had some questionable first trimester test results so I waited to tell DS1 until after my early Level 2 u/s at about 17 weeks. He was a little over 3 at that point. I'm glad I waited because he announced it to his daycare class at circle time the next morning. Close friends and family had known at that point, but I wasn't ready to share it with the world until I knew things looked okay.

I had an ectopic pregnancy earlier this year. My boys were 7 and 3.5 at the time. They knew I was in the hospital because I had emergency surgery, but they didn't know the reason. If I'm lucky enough to get pregnant again, I'd wait to tell them once I got past the first trimester.

I waited to tell my DD (then almost 6 years old) until my NT scan results came back okay. She had already noticed my belly getting bigger (especially at night). I think I was around 13 weeks. I had 4 losses prior to this baby, and we had only told her about 1 of those pregnancies at 9 weeks (thankfully, she was only 3 so she doesn't remember)...so I waited it out as long as I could. At work, I didn't tell anyone until I was close to 16 weeks....I just wore clothes to hide it as best as I could.

We actually told our immediate family before we even told DS. I had an ectopic several months prior (that DS also didnt know about) and our fear was that if we told him too early and G-d forbid something happened, we would have to explain that to him. So, to shield him from that, we waited until I was about 11 weeks. By that time though, I had already had about 3 ultrasounds to make sure everything was OK.

We told her at 12 weeks which was Easter. I wanted to wait for my blood tests to come back. I knew that I had to be ready for the world to know because once she found out, it was OUT!

DS wasn't even 2.5 yet when I got pregnant so he didn't fully "get" it right away. I think we introduced the idea when I was around 14 weeks, and then slowly started talking about it more and more. Now he's almost 3, I'm due in 6 weeks, and he totally gets it and asks about the baby all the time.

We told DD at 7 weeks, I didn't want to tell her so early because I was still so nervous even though we saw heartbeat. DH really wanted to tell her so I gave in, wouldn't change a thing.

Probably around 12-13 weeks. DS1 wasn't even 3 yet though so I don't think be really "got it" until I started getting a big belly.

After we heard the heartbeat a few times at our sonogram and I felt confident.

I've had numerous miscarriages in the past and didn't want to have to explain God forbid something bad happened.

ETA: DD was 7 so she was older than most plus I had MS and a ton of appointments. I didn't want her to get worried it was something else so we told her before the 12 weeks.

I think I'm waiting the longest. DD is almost 4 and I'm 16 weeks pregnant I wasn't planning on telling her til another month or two. I'm not really showing yet and I felt like it is too abstract of an idea and maybe I should wait til she can see my belly growing and feel baby kick etc... Is there such a thing as too late to tell?

Probably around 12/14 weeks. DD was almost 5 at the time. But we knew she couldn't keep a secret. So we waited until we were ready to tell everyone. We told her first And then let her make the announcement.

We told DD pretty early, I want to say around 8 weeks. She is just about 3. I think if I had a history of pregnancy complications and she was older I would wait longer to tell.

We told LO when I was about 10 weeks I think. I was REALLY sick so we had to tell pretty much everyone early. Once I was on IV fluids and everyone knew, we told LO that there was a baby in mommy's belly. LO is 3.

My first pregnancy loss was partway through the second trimester. When the time comes, we won't be telling my DS till AT LEAST the anatomy scan at 20 or so weeks.
