When did your DC know colors
This is something we have been working on for a while and my dd just wants no part of it. Everytime we ask her she says "Don't Know" lol Its so frustrating

I think it was around 19 months or so maybe 20 months. He learned them all at Daycare

They learned a lot from going to daycare/school. I would agree with the PP some where around 20 mths.

about 20 - 22 mos. For a while I thought he was colour blind because he kept confusing red & green, etc. I even looked up a colour blindness test online & asked him to take it

My DD is almost 2.5 and can decipher her colors. It was pretty frustrating because she was verbal pretty young, but she didn't have the interest in trying to impress me when I asked, I guess. But now, I'm pretty confident she knows them all.
Although she gets blue and green confused some times...now i'm going to look up color blindness....

My DD is 22 months old and is starting to learn them. She is pretty good with red, blue, and yellow but she still mixes them up a lot too.

My DS learned them between 2 and 2.5 years. My DD is beginning to learn them at 20 months.

He could point to the correct colors by 17-18 months. He could say the correct colors shortly before turning 19 months.

DS is 19 months and can say and recognize yellow, green, blue, orange, brown, black, purple, and white. He makes no attempt at red though-lol.

Abby knows which words are colors. If I asked he what color something is, she will say any one of the words for a certain color. Sometimes she gets it right, sometimes she doesnt. But when I speak to her, I ask her for specific items. For example:
"Give mommy the red ball."
"Go get the blue paper."

I think around 2. Get some M&Ms. It can be a game that way, and then you can give the treat when the right color is said!

This is the only thing DD was on the earlish side with-around 20 months.
The ped said it's more of a 3 year old skill.
