Claire stopped using the bottle at 15-16 months. It was perfect for us, she had started at a sitter 2 days a week and the kids (age 2-4) all used their sippy cups so she refused her bottle and never asked for it again!....

At his 12-month check-up, his doctor told us to start trying the sippy if we hadn't yet. She wanted us off the sippy by 15 months, so we decided to start with it right away so we'd have enough time for him to make the adjusment. Lucky for us, he took to it fairly quickly and loves his sippy now.

My 1st had his last bottle on his first birthday. I'm hoping to get my 2nd off his bottle this week (he'll be 1 next week  ).

Jules is 16 months and on the sippy cup during the day, but I still give it to her one at night. It's my fault because she is used to going down with a bottle...she can go all day with just the sippy cut though.

by the 11th month he was already getting sick and tired of the bottle and we had a hard time feeding him with it. By the time he hit 12 months he was totally off of the bottle for good.

12 - 13 months. Day care really pushed the issue so I just did it and thank God, so did Delaney.

Our doctor said the same thing and that's what we did.

By her first birthday Emily was off the bottle. We were lucky because she took to the sippy very quickly.

We weaned from the bottle at 13 months (wanted to do at 12 months but we had issues with whole milk and didn't want to complicate things). So by 13 months no more day bottles. We were slower with the bottle before bed (he needs it to fall asleep) and took that bottle away (replaced with sippy cup) around 15 months because he finally started sleeping wella round a year and weren't ready to jinx that!!
