It's tough because her birthday is at the very end of summer so I was thinking of getting her this as her big gift for Christmas. But then again, is it silly to let her see something she can't really use for 6 more months.  Maybe I'll just wait until the spring and get it for her then.

DS got one for his 2nd bday - has no interest in it yet. I'm hoping next spring he will use it.
PS I would give it for Christmas and then she will forget about it with all the other things and in the spring it would be like new again.

And that's when May birthdays work out so nicely. I feel like I have to give her summer toys for the following year at Xmas or else I'll be really broke 3x a year

He started around 3.5 years. My son is almost 5 and he just started with no training wheels. He is a pro, we should have taken them off sooner.

We got our son one for his 3rd birthday. His birthday was in February and he tried all that summer but couldn't really do it. He turned 4 this year and this summer is a pro!

She can use it if you let her practice in the house. I bet she'd master it really quickly. You have one smart cookie on your hands.

DD will be 3 in dec and we just started using a bike like this for her. She got the hang of it pretty quickly.
