When do you call Doctor?
Don't get to excited I'm not preggo and I have no BFP. I'm just curious about how it all works. So you POAS and get a BFP. When do you call to set up your first Dr. appt? Do you have to wait until you are a certain number of days late?

I called as soon as I got the BFP. My dr wanted to do blood tests to make sure, then they set up my appt for when I was 7-8 weeks pg.

I called as soon as I got a BFP. The doctor had me come in and took a bloodtest that day

Great question, I gues as a followup, what is yoru first real appointment like, should DH be there or do you not get a heart ultra sound yet

With my docs you call when you get a BFP, they set up an appointment for 7-8 weeks prego. You go in, pee in a cup, get a sono to confirm the age and existance of the fetus. Then at 10 weeks you go back for a repeat sono, full exam, bloodwork.

My doctor told me to call him asap when I get a BFP and he would want to see me no more than 1 - 2 weeks after getting the BFP

I just got my BFP on Saturday, and I am going to the doctor tomorrow night. I was a little bit shocked since I had been reading that most girls have been going in later on, but I am happy I am going tomorrow, it makes it feel very real.

I got my BFP lsat week and we are going to the dr. tommorw at 5 weeks preggo, Will let you know after what happens when you are there on the 1st visit after we get back!!
