When do you say goodbye to your former size?
I had to do it once before, when I moved from a 2 to a 4. Now I think I have moved from a S to a M in certain brands. Should I get rid of all of my S tanks (mostly from the Gap, J.Crew etc.) to make room?
I no longer by "number" sized pants (2, 4, 6 etc...) I buy waist size. I am thinking of selling all of my size 4 jeans. The new ones are much nicer anyway.

I don’t think you necessarily need to go by size, but by how individual pieces fit you. Women’s sizes vary so much! I usually go through twice per year (changing from summer to winter and from winter to summer) and just try things on that are questionable. If they don’t look good, out they go. If they still look good, they can stay!

Women's sizing varies so much. In one brand, for example, I was a 2 in one dress and a 8 in another dress! I try to ignore the size labels. In jeans I have been anywhere from a 25 to a 28 waist too, sometimes even within the same brand.

Re: When do you say goodbye to your former size?
I save my favorites and go through them from time to time, deciding what I want to continue to save. I do not have tons of stuff anymore but I do have select favorites in every size from 6-14 I never know whether to save the things that would be expensive to buy again or just to take what money I can get for them. If you were not crazy about something to begin with, then sell it or donate it. Hopefully, you will not be into double digit sizes like I am and I hope to get back down.
