When do you take your Holiday Card pic?
I feel like Sean changes SO much so quickly - I don't want to order cards NOW and then by the time Christmas comes he looks like a different baby (he's 6 months now .......)

When they were that little I did them in December, but I did them at home. I would imagine if you did it at a studio or with one of the photographer vendors on here it would have to be done earlier.
ETA: We did ours this past Sunday.

AvaJack took her 2 year pics 2 weeks ago. If I LOVE one (or more) I may use them, if not we have a holiday shoot on 11/8.
ETA - I usually have my Xmas cards addressed and ready to go the weekend of Thanksgiving, but not this year!

Somewhere in the last two weeks of Novemeber or the first week of December. All depends on our work schedule. But we take them ourselves.

I usually have the picture taken after Thanksgiving. I mail my cards around 2 weeks before Christmas.

We will probably use a picture that we take when we go to Disney next month.
We won't send them out until a week or two before christmas.

Early November. I like natural lighting (ok, I suck at indoor photography  ) so I try to make it when it's not cold out.

Last year when my DD was a newborn I took them the first week in December (took the pic myself in front of our tree) and then uploaded it to Shutterfly and printed out my Xmas cards. I had the Xmas cards within 2 weeks so all my cards got out on time and she pretty much looked like herself in the photo.

Ryan was going to be 6 months on Christmas Eve. I did his pictures myself in the middle of November.
This year I am hoping to have them done before Thanksgiving.
