When do you typically take the 1 hour glucose test?

At Christmas dinner, a family member who due is two days after me had a three hour test recently (no one hour) and now I am all worried that I missed something.

Its usually done around like 24 weeks I think....usually, if the person has diabetes, or a history of it with pregnancy, they will do it throughout the whole pregnancy.

My practice does it at 26 weeks.

Maybe she had reason to suspect something was wrong so they did it earlier?

Thank you for the responses...I feel so much better. My doctor tests my urine at each visit and so I am going to guess that everything is on course and I can expect it at the 24 week mark.

You're probably right..she might have some other factors that play into her getting tested earlier. We have had very different pregnancies.

You dont take it until about the 26th week....I am 22 weeks and I go for mine the week of Jan 23rd

I am having mine next tuesday, I will be 28 weeks then. I think it is done between 24-28 weeks

I was told by my doctor to go to the lab for the 1 hour test between 26-28 weeks. Hope that helps!

My best friend just had her's done last week and she is 26 weeks. She told me they do them between 24 and 28 weeks.

I am 26 weeks tomorrw and I just had my 1 hour test this past Saturday. My Dr said between 24-28 weeks is the right time...
