When does it get harder to feel the baby kick?
I know I've heard that as the baby gets bigger and there is less room in there - we will feel them less. I'm curious as to when this starts to happen. I love feeling him and it puts my mind at ease every day when I get those little punch in the guts.

I've noticed in the past few weeks that there are less noticable kicks and more waves and what I call mirgations, feeling like he's migrating from the left to the right!
PS I am 30 w 1 d

Re: When does it get harder to feel the baby kick?
I'm 37 weeks and I still feel her quite a bit. Actually, since I have been off work, I feel her a bit more. When I was teaching, I was moving around so much myself, and I hardly felt her at all during the day (the theory is that your movements "rock" the baby and he/she is more likely asleep then, I don't know how true that is.)
Sometimes, it's less movement and more her jabbing me.

My kids were both active up unitl they were born. Sarah was moving around so much during labor that they had to put an internal monitor on her head since she kept moving away from the external fetal monitor.

That's good to know. I was under the impression that I wouldn't feel him as much as it gets closer. It's such an amazing when you do feel them - and such a relief!!
