when Im pumping Im still getting..

this mucusy slime... sometimes it has a tinge of blood (which emilian has assured me is broken capillary )

What is this and why isnt it going away???

I'm not sure, but have you tried calling a lactation consultant or your Dr..?? hang in there!

What are you eating? Anything out of the ordinary? I would cal the doc first and see what they say, this may be a common thing that us Mom's here on LIF are not aware of. Is he su*cking very hard?

I think its my skin... I kinda have like a white flim around my nipple...

No- it only seems to happen when I pump... Could it be the suction is on to high????

It didnt do it this morning.. but I did notice this film (in which I could peel off..sorry tmi) while I was in the shower...

Im not eating anything different... I was on pain meds from my c-section... but that was 2 weeks ago...I dont know why that would only be affecting it now...???

ETA- which dr. do I call... my ob. my reg MD, or the peditrician???

ok, this def sounds like your nipples shedding it's skin and then when it gets wet from the milk it must be getting gooey, but maybe you should call your OB just to make sure, I would say ot's nothing though. I too had some stringy stuff I'd have to remove sometimes, make sure you let your ni*ples air dry, this may help.
