When installing your forward facing car seat...
Did you put the car seat in the middle, right or left seat of the backseat?
I feel so stupid for not knowing this and NOTHING in the directions for the car seat indicates when it belongs.
TIA!

Same here, but I was just told recently that the driver's side is safer since it is the driver's natural instinct to steer *themselves* away from danger--hence the back driver's seat passenger as well. Either way, now with two, we have one in each spot.

Middle is safest, with passenger side next. When you are parked on the side of the road, the passenger side is away from traffic, so you are not loading and unloading DC in the middle of the road.
Accidents happen from both sides, so I wouldn't use the steering away from an accident concept for seat placement.

Technically the seat can be installed anywhere in the back but the middle is safest if you only have one although it is a PITA when loading and unloading.

Mine is on the passenger side. I put it there because I can see her easiest there & I can almost always unload her against the curb rather than in traffic.
