I think we started the puffs at about 8 months and we did use the gerber ones.

7 months. I broke them at first. They dissolve really quickly so I think your DC will be fine.

We waited until Kaydyn got teeth (which was at 9 1/2 months). We started by breaking them in pieces and then gradually gave her bigger and bigger pieces. She now eats whole puffs. We use the gerber graduate ones.

Re: When is a good age to introduce puffs?

DS loves food with texture, so we started puffs around 6 months broke in half. By 8 months DS was 60% of table food, and by 10 months 95% on table food!

Puffs were a great started because they disolve and its also great to help them learn to self feed.

PS dont worry if your DC doesnt have alot of teeth, DS only had 3 teeth at 8 months and he was eating everything. The puffs you most definately dont need teeth to eat.

I introduced them at 9 months. She just played with them though. Now at 10 months she picks them up and eats them!
