When is a good time to go to Cancun?
DH and I were thinking about going there for a romantic long weekend. Any ideas of when is a good time to go?

The only time I've been was in early December. I thought it was a great time to go -- weather was great, no teenagers or college students, enough people around but not jam packed.
I would think the times not to go would be spring break weeks and hurricane season.

I can tell you when not to go, LOL....
I went in August a few years ago ... can you say sweltering, even the pool was HOT????? And don't go during hurricane season (Sept-Nov is peak).

Yeah take it from me don't go during hurricane season. Was there during Hurricane Wilma and had to be evacuated to a shelter for 3 days. It was an experience that changed me as a person forever.

I was there 5x, mostly in February & March & it was great, EXCEPT when its spring break.

I went mid october last year and the weather was beautiful. It rained one night (around 7) and was beautiful the rest of the week.
