when is it safe to take a baby out in a large crowd?
I'm delivering by c-section on 4/19 and my cousin's wedding is 5/26 so  will be a month and a week old.
Is it okay to take him to the wedding if I politely tell people they can look but not let anyone touch/hold him?

I would leave the baby with my or DH's folks or someone you trust and have a good night with DH without the baby.

I doubt it. A wedding can be a loud place and it might disturb the baby, particularly one so young. Plus honestly, people will really annoy you with wanting the hold the baby , I am sure they will all want to.

I dont think there is anything wrong with bringing the baby out but... to a wedding is a different story.
Babies that young are very sensative and weddings can be very loud and over bearing.
Maybe you can get a sitter.

i wouldn't think it would be a problem, germ-wise. i would be concerned about the noise, though.
