When is the crucial time in pregnancy officially over?
I thought it was 12 weeks but some sites say 10 and others say 13.
Which week is it?
Thanks!

Most will say after the first trimester (12-13 wks) but chances that you'll miscarry go down significantly once you've seen a heartbeat which is probably why some say 10wks.

I think your 13th week you are officially in your 2nd trimester. There is still risk, but it drastically decreases at that point for most women.

After you see a heartbeat, the chances of miscarrying decrease dramatically. I have read the chance is less then 5% at that point.

Oh my goodness, I feel so much better after reading this you have no idea! We saw the heartbeat about 2 weeks ago and my doctor kept saying, "everything looks good!".
What a relief
Thank you so much girls

That is correct! When I was bleeding the technician told me that once you hear a strong heartbeat, you have a 95% of going full term!
