Believe it or not, my mom had my nephew fully potty trained at 18 mos.
Obviously, he couldn't wipe himself, but he could tell you he had to go #2 and needed help and went #1 by himself.

OK dumb question...you start potty training a boy by having them sit right, not stand & pee??
