When is the snow supposed to start?

I am in Huntington and so far no snow....

What is the latest?

Can anyone update me?!

I just heard it is starting in NYC. I am in Nassau and there is nothing here

Last I heard it was between 5 and 6 pm for it to start.
Long Island is supposed to get 1-3 inches.
By morning it will mix with rain so it will keep accumlations down!

We are only supposed to get 2-5 inches and then it will turn to rain. It is going to be too warm tomorrow for anything significant.

i heard long island - less than an inch
ct- 8-12 inches
where my fh is- 6-8 inches

I am in NYC and no snow yet. I heard around 4 it was going to start and we should get anywhere from 3 - 6 inches when it is all over. It is suppose to start out at snow and then become ice pellets.

I feel like the weathermen never know what they are talking about, I bet since they are saying small amounts of accumulation we will get a big amount. They think it is going to warm up tomorrow and then get down to the same temps we have had for over a week. I have a feeling it is not going to warm up all that much.

Like my DH always says it is the only job you can make that many mistakes and still have a job in the morning.

I heard LI was supposed ton have 3-5 inches by the time it's DONE (tomorrow afternoon) and we're supposed to have sleet early in the morning.

I for one am hoping for it, but I do know that there are people who have to travel anyway...so whatever happens, drive carefully

Wow 3-5 inches? I didn't think we were supposed to get more than an inch!

I did hear that the snow is supposed to turn to rain during the day tomorrow, but as it gets later it will turn back to snow.

That's what I heard today while I was at the school, however, I just checked weather.com and accuweather.com and got two different forecasts.

So now I don't know who to believe, so I guess I'll just wait until I actually see the flakes.

This is what WBLI had on it's web site...who knows where they get their info from, but this is also different from the other two forecasts I just saw.

now i just heard on channel 7 we could get 3 to 6 inches of snow, I say whatever happens...Happens, you cant believe them anymore.

Channel 5 just said we are on a winter weather advisory.
Snow, then sleet, then rain, then back to snow tomorrow.
NYC and Nassau I think they said 3-5, Suffolk and east..1-3..
I'l watch again at 10PM and I guarantee they change it again.

They just said on the TV a few minutes ago starting around 9pm and 1-3 in for most of the area.
