When kids say funny things...
Today I was talking to one of my students. The student tells me something he would like to do(irrelevant to the story) and I said:
"Have a ball!"
and in response he said "I have balls."
Me---> trying to hold my composure.
and he continues to say:
"But I don't know how many."
Me--->
How was I going to maintain professionalism in this case? I left the room.
ETA:
I should add that this was said with the utmost innocence.

Reminds me of a story DH heard on the radio.
Dan Patrick was calling in from the road and asked his wife what was new, she let him know their son discovered his testicles and asked what they were she told him and said but you can also call them balls.
Weeks later, when asking his son what he wanted for his birthday his son said:
a golf bag
golf shoes
and golf testicles
