When putting sunscreen on an infant, how do you do it safely?

Do you put it on their face? Eyelids? Ears? Etc Also, how do you put it on them without them getting it in their mouths before it dries?

Today is the first day I need to use alot of it since we are going to a bbq with no shade. Anyone have any advice?

I am afraid DD will get some into her mouth or eyes.

I use the stick or if I don't have the stick with me I put it on my hands and then rub it in.

Ditto. I use the stick (California baby) for his face, he actually loves it lol. I rub the lotion on my hands and then on the rest of him. No problems so far.

Where can I buy this? I haven't seen California baby anywhere yet.

Walmart and Target have it. Target actually has a two pack that includes the stick and the lotion.

I squirt it in my hands, rub it a little, then cover his face with it. When he was a baby I did the same with his arms and legs, but this year I rub the lotion in directly.
