When should I consider myself late?
My AF showed up last month on CD 41 (the latest it has ever showed up), the month before that it was CD 31 and before that CD33.When should I consider myself late?
I am currently on CD32 and I believe I ovulated on CD 20.

Re: When should I consider myself late?
I am not 100% sure, but based on the information you wrote, maybe CD38-39 I would consider yourself late.
Only because last month you went 41 days.....
I hope this helps a little!

Re: When should I consider myself late?
I'd add them all up and average over the 3 months or however many months you are adding

Re: When should I consider myself late?
thanks girls.....if I average it would be CD 35...if I haven't received a visit from AF on CD 36 I'll test and then again after CD 41....just to try not to drive myself crazy.

Re: When should I consider myself late?
Do you have any idea when you ovulated in the previous months? If so, count up the days between O and your next period and you'll have your luteal phase. The luteal phase should remain somewhat consistent so that can help you determine when you'd be late.
For instance, if you O'd on CD20 and are on CD32 now and you have a luteal phase of 15 days, you'd expect your next period of CD 36 (and hence would be "late" on CD 37).
HTH! And if it doesn't, I can try explaining better.

Unfortunately this was the first month that I was paying attention to my body.

Wow, I never thought of doing this, I didn't stop to think that the luteal phase should be around the same lenght every month! Thanks!

Re: When should I consider myself late?
sounds like your AF is like mine...comes when it wants to! my average cycle was 33 days...some months 36, some 32. then one month it was 28....then i got pregnant!
i was never really certain when it would come...so a friend gave me a website that merely tracks your period and estimates when it should arrive and ESITMATES when you should ovulate.
my monthly cycle
It helped me know more realisitcally when AF would be coming...since it wasn't always consistent. It averages out your period length as well!

you know, I had the same thing...definitely had pain" about a week before! That's why I started using that site...b/c I never understood when I was ovulating due to the pain and such. Ironically, I conceived on the FIRST night of when I was believed to be possibly fertile [it gives you an estimate of about 5 days]. So I suppose maybe I/we have like PMS for ovulation!

But its sucks because I thought I was ovulating and BD during that time. And only BD the 2 days before the date its says I should have ovulated. Which btw hurt!
