When should you start producing breast milk??
I am 34 wks today and dont really notice to much difference in my boobs...should I?

Everyone is different.... some women don't have anything til after delivery! I know it's sooooooooo hard not to stress (I was freaking til I saw that I had colostrum coming out), but please try not to....

i produced mine 3 days after delivery!
Some do 1 day after and others 2 days. I think 3 days was long - but things worked out.
I produced colustrum only after delivery - no sooner.

With DD#1 I never produced anything before I delivered and I had no issue b/f her for 9 months after she was born.

your actual milk won't come in until 3/4 days after delivery and when it comes in...Momma, you will feel it. You can get fevery, hot flashes, and its quite painful as your breasts can become engorged quite quickly, but it only hurts for a day or two.

My milk came in almost 48 hours after DS was born.
A woman at work told me that her daughter started to leak at 6 months pregnant.
Everone is different. There's a lot of info on the internet about it.

Thanks. I leaked some clear fluid out of one the other day...I figured that's what it was but wasn't sure.

My milk came in 4 days after DD was born, I got a fever(102) and chills and my boobs got so engorged, they were hot and huge(I am normally a B and they looked like D's) But it only lasted a short while after pumping and dumping on my doc's advice.

I never had any changes in my boobs while pregnant, they only got a little bigger. No tenderness, leaking, nothing! I had colostrum right after I delivered DD, and then my milk came in the day we came home from the hospital-- it was VERY uncomfortable...I still BF and my DD is 6 months old!
