do you try to figure out who it is? Have you ever been right?
I don't really know anyone on here closely enough to assume who it might be.

Sometimes I can't tell but sometimes it is SO easy. I even FM'ed the poster letting them know that it was very easy to tell who they were. The related topic to their "anonymous" thread was a previous thread by the original poster.

I really don't think about it all that much. Though I would never do it, I do understand why people do it on certain boards such as TTC, IF and Pregnancy.

I told you that I didn't care if the LIF'ers could figure it out....I'm not from LI and none of my family knows I post here...I just wanted to take that extra step to hide my identity from anyone that was at the wedding or tied to my family. it's really not that

I think the only people I try to figure out were the anonymous moms that were pregnant with their second because it's more of a tease & more fun.
The relationship board I don't bother to think about it because I'm more concerned with the situations that are posted than tracking down the person. However, a few times I figured it out because it was obvious - not because I gave it much thought.

haven't figured it out here.....but i remember on LIW....a girl posted about doubts about her wedding and some other stuff.
a bunch of us figured that one out.
you can't help but wonder if the person is someone you talk to all the time or not!
