When taking your kids for photos, how long does it take to pick an outfit out
I bought a shirt for his 6 month portraits but am not 100% happy with it (I love the shirt but its very casual) and I have been dwelling about this all week. Does anyone else do this. I am already tring to figure what to put him in with the photoshoot with Barbara in 2 weeks!

I am the same way, I put so much thought into what he will wear for pics.
Sometimes I'll luck out and he'll get an outfit and I'll know right away that he needs to have pictures taken in it... other times I am searching and searching!
I got Barbara's outfit down, now I am trying to put together Christmas!

I picked his thanksgiving but haven't purchased it yet and am starting to think about christmas. I haven't decided if I want black or grey pants.

Here are some pointers:
-Pick the color you like the most on them. Usually it's one that will complement their eyes. -Try to go for solids rather than distracting patterns. -I find overalls don't usually work well unless it's on an older child. The scrunch up. Also newborns & teethers will try to eat them the buckles.
For girls going for a timeless, classic look - peter pan collars (rounded) or gingham works very well.
I think bringing a hat is good for bald babies - it also changes the look.
HTH Also you can bring a slew of outfits & always change him wherever you bring him.
