When the Mommy is sick....
WTH do you all do? I got that dreaded virus about 3 weeks ago. Had it for 11 days or so and then felt much better. Now yesterday, my right ear, jaw and face hurt like somebody has thrown a brick at me. The right side of my nose is stuffed again too.
The doctor gave me drops for the ear saying it was an ear infection again but OMG...the pain. Why does it feel like my jaw is broken??? I am so run down I just want to cry. Never have I been sick like this.
I guess I just need to know how to get through this, nobody is around to help (and I BF too).

Sorry you feel sick and I hope you feel better soon. Your jaw hurts because of your ear infection. It will get better. Just remember bf will help leep ypur baby from catching what you have. drink lots of decaf tea and water and sleep whenever baby does.

I agree with he above poster. I once had such a bad ear infection that my teeth and jaw killed me. Can Dh or someone come over for a couple of hrs to help you out. I wish you a speedy recovery as well.

Have any of you gone on antibiotics that didn't effect your milk and didn't give the baby diarrhea??

I feel your pain!! I now have whatever horrible cold Johnny caught...it stinks but you do get through it...
Take care of yourself and get help when you need it if possible...
