When to break out the "cold weather" bedtime wear?
Tonight, when I brought Kieran to his room to nurse him before going to bed, it felt SO cold in his room! We have a thermometer in there and it said 64. We normally use Aden and Anais sleep sacks, and he wears cotton, footed PJ's. Lately, I've been putting socks on underneath the "feet" too because he's been waking up with icy hands and feet. Tonight, I felt like that wasn't enough, so I took out one of his fleece sleep sacks and put that on him instead of the thin A&A one. Now he's sleeping, and of course I'm sitting here wondering if that was too much and if he's going to get overheated. Has anyone else started using warmer bedtime wear yet?

I have been using the fleece feetie pajamas since the beginning of October - It is almost freezing tonight, I think its fine to use heavier PJs

Last night i put DS to bed in a long sleeve onesie, fleece blanket sleepers, and socks...It gets a lot colder in his room then the rest of the house. Tonight I will do the same...He wakes up toasty...

Re: When to break out the "cold weather" bedtime wear?
I have an unnatural fear of overheating, but even then I think it depends on your house and their room. For example, we live in an old home and it's always drafty, even with the insulated curtains. So I put cotton feety pjs on with a fleece sleepsack over it. I feel it gives him the lightness under with cotton pjs, but the blankety warmth of the sleep sack.
