When to Home Goods Store....
and we were disappointed. Not sure if its the location we went to, it was a mess. everything was thrown around Is this how its at all the locations. We went to the one in Staten Island. DH said, we'll stick to Bed Bath and Beyond. He's in love with that store now

This time of year Home Goods is crazy. I waited in line for over 20 minutes yesterday at the one in Oceanside because people have already begun their holiday shopping. It's just going to get worse as the holidays approach!
That being said, it really is a great store. I like the ones in Merrick and Oceanside. There really are some great bargains on items but you need time to look. I'd avoid the store also mid-day on the weekend, it tends to get very crowded. Your best bet is early morning when it opens or a weekday/night.

i love the homegoods in jericho and merrick. i was just in merrick last weekend and it had so many good things! sorry you were disappointed!
