When to see an RE
I'm asking for my friend...I've posted about her before where she tends to have cramps all month long, not just around AF. She spoke to her OB about it, who basically blew her off. She's been TTC only about 4 or months, with 1 chemical. AFter teh chemical her OB basically said she had no proof that she was actually pg. She's 32. She asks me for advice since I needed to see an RE for both of my pregnancies, though my situation was completely different.
Anyway. My gut tells me she should prob see an RE after 6 months, rather than waiting the 12. Just looking for a second opinion, I guess.

Re: When to see an RE
I think she should go after 6 months. I didn't wait 12 months to go (but I have PCOS and knew I would have issues). I made sure to call my insurance first to make sure it would be covered then made the appointment.
Sounds like she also needs to look into a new OB as well.

Agreed.. I also would wait another cycle or two and then make an appt, I personally am not a fan of wasting any time even though the guideline technically says 12 months.
