When to TTC again

When is everyone waiting to start TTCing agin? I've been reading all sorts of messages on the internet. What does everyone's doctor say? I just miscarried, but I've become a little obsessed

i just had surgery for an ectopic pregnancy (so not technically a m/c) and i had a tube removed. my doctor told me we CAN try again once i get AF but she'd prefer if i wait a couple of cycles (mostly because she wants me to mentally recover from what happened). every doctor says something different it seems!

I started after I got my first AF after the D&C. I had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks. I did get pregnant on the first try and I am about 6 weeks. I haven't gone to the dr yet, so all is well with this pregnancy.

My Dr told me there isn't really any physical reason to wait longer than a cycle or 2, but some people choose to wait 3 or more cycles for emotional reasons.

after my first and second m/c the dr told us we could try as soon as we wanted. I wanted to see the specialist first to rule out anything wrong with me, when we met with him he said we could go ahead and TTC as soon as i felt emotionally ready bc physically I'm fine. We waited for AF and have just started ttcing again, i'm terrified so I dunno if it's a good thing that we started to try again, but waiting another month makes me feel like we're just wasting time.

As long as ur dr. says its ok to TTC I would go ahead and do so.

after i had my first chemical i was able to try again immediately. after the second i had to wait a full cycle, but because i dont O or get AF on my own, i ended up waiting a bit over 5 weeks before starting meds for this cycle. the day i started meds i considered it day 1 again (even though it was like CD38 or something like that ).

i couldnt wait to start TTC again and I hated having to wait 4 weeks. but in the end i realized that i really did need to heal mentally and the physical break from meds was great to.

doctor's often advise waiting 3 months, but I believe that is just for psychological purposes to let your mind heal. I don't think there is any physical reason to wait.

I've had 3 miscarriages - 2 before Abby and 1 before Zippy resulting in a D and C. After each one, my doctor said he wanted to see me have at least ONE AF before resuming. I was fortunate to be able to conceive relatively fast. I was terrified, but I was working against time as I turn 40 next month and did not want to wait. It was a "now or never" thing for us.

we started trying after AF showed --- i was the SAMe way I wanted to start right away-- but everyone is different-- 4 months to the day of the D&C we got a BFP--- it was our 3rd cycle-- iit will happen for you-- I am just hoping this one is healthy-- I cant imagaine my heart can take another loss

babylove- which specialist did u see? I just had my 2nd MC& my OB wants me to see a specialist.

We had a MC at around 9wks. Our OB recommended to try again after 3 cycles. He wanted to make sure my body will go back to normal .
