When, when, when will the terrible 2's end?
It just keeps getting worse and worse everyday. He doesn't listen, he throws things and he even acts worse when we have company over. Now he even calls himself bad   I don't whether to laugh or go nuts. Oh well, but he can be sweet at times.

I will tell you right now that it doesn't stop. 3 isn't ANY better, if anything, it's WORSE than the Terrible Two's!

I agree.
But no matter how bad the day is - when that little one crawls up on your lap and wraps their chubby little arms around you and says "I love you - you are a princess and the best mommy." - it makes it all worth while.

We're in the same boat! DD is 2.5 and can really be a terror sometimes. Plus, I've also heard 3 is worse....

I don't think it ever ends. DS has his moments too. One minute he'll be playing nice with his blocks and then when he's bored of playing with them he starts throwing them around.
The other day DH and I were sitting in the kitchen and DS was on the floor in the living room playing with his mega blocks. So he sat there and played with them for 15 minutes. Then all of a sudden we hear him throwing them. We couldn't see DS all we saw were mega blocks flying in the air...We had to laugh at that
Everytime we see him doing something he shouldn't be doing, we always say "no no no". He turns around and points his finger and shakes it and says "no no no"... Sometimes they can make you so mad but then they will turn around and do something so cute and sweet that you can never stay mad at them...

For me, the terrible 2's are about a lack of communication skills combined with trying to assert independance.
At our house, Joseph's lasted from 18 months to 2.5 yo. Maddie never had the terrible 2's (mainly because we learned to spot tantrums & understood why they were happening), but then at 3 yo moved to the terrible, terrible 3's.

We're in the same boat! DD is 2.5 and can really be a terror sometimes. Plus, I've also heard 3 is worse....
OMG, please don't tell me that. I have two little ones so close in age I just cannot imagine both of them in their terrible 2's.

You are right, it is hard to stay mad because when he knows he did something wrong, he comes over and gives me a kiss and I know why he does that because he knows he will get a time out.
