When will this stop? (TMI, I'm sorry)
Since giving birth I've had bad incontenance. For a while it was really severe. It has gotten "better" since 3 months PP, but it's still not great. The only reason it's better is because I've "trained" my bladder (I go within intervals of time). Today I took DS out to go get DDH's father's day gift and then to BRU to get DS a toy, so I didn't go during my "interval" and was alone so I could not use the rest room at the store. By the time I got home...and this is very embarressing for me to say...I was starting to "go". I put DS down in the crib and made a bee-line to the BR. DH called me and I was a little short with him because I was upset but was too embarressed to tell him "your wife wet her pants again" .
How long is this going to keep happening??? I've been to the urologist and all he said was he could give me a pill to decrease the sensation (although, wouldn't that make it WORSE???) but until I stop having kids there is nothing he will do and I will "just have embarressing moments sometimes". My OB is the only one who seems to be taking this seriously, but he's limited in what he can do. I've done kegals, which have helped some, but it's still pretty bad. I've stopped exercising because running and jumping make it worse.
I don't know if anyone else has been in my situation. If not, maybe some hugs and support would be in order. Everytime it happens I just get so upset. Sorry if this is TMI.

The BEST recommendation I got for that is Kegels. And LOTS of them! I was doing them the whole time I was pregnant, and then as soon as I was "well" enough in my hoo-ha area, I started doing them again. Try doing them, work up to 3x a day, 20 each time. Your muscles will be back to shape in no time! GL! (And don't be embarrassed- we ALL went through it!! )

I was going to suggest Kegels too. Search for pelvic floor exercises and do a LOT of them. I hope they help. Good luck.

I'm there with you and can't do anything until I'm done having kids. I'll be having surgery to fix my "broken junk" after baby#3 gets here.
In the meantime, Kegels have helped somewhat. But I just wear Poise pads all the time just in case I can't get to the bathroom in time.
