When will you stop working?

For those ladies that live on LI but work in Manhattan, when do you plan to stop working?

I stopped 2 weeks before my due date. I had planned to work right up until the end, but my HR department urged me to take the two weeks. It did not affect my maternity leave at all and I received full pay for those two weeks. I was SO tired of commuting, I was really grateful for the time!

I work from home most of the week but my doctor advised to stop train/long commute at 35 weeks.

When will you stop working?

I worked/commuted up until I gave birth both times.

I worked right up until the end, though I was doing about 2 days a week from home, especially when my ankles were too swollen to walk comfortably. I was at work on Monday, was swollen on Tuesday so worked from home, and went into labor that night. If I went into labor at work, the plan would've just been to get a car back home. Most labors are long!

When will you stop working?

With my first I commuted to Brooklyn and stopped 2 weeks before my due date, with my second I worked on LI so I went right up until my schedule C-section. Planning on doing the same this time around too

When will you stop working?

I work in the North Bronx and will be living in Seaford by the time I give birth. I plan on working until the last day but will be cutting back my hours. I also made plans already to carpool with a co-worker so that I don't have to worry about my car being in the North Bronx on a jobsite for 3 months.

When will you stop working?

Until the bitter end!
